so yeah… i took my psychology of sex exam yesterday… blah… i really don’t know how i did.i’m so scared.i know i’m on academic probation but i don’t want to make less than a c in that class or i have to take it over (major/minor policy)… maybe i could have focused more if the girl behind me wasn’t so interested in talking about the SPIDER near our chairs… needless to say i freaked out… i though he might be crawling on me… so i tried to hurry and do my answers because if i see the spider on me… i’ll piss my pants, faint, become unconscious, all of the above… hmm damnit i should have tried that… maybe i would have become exempt… but then i finish my exam only to see him scurry away from my chair… i still not nauseas but it was all good…

Sorry if I pissed you off, but we just get lectured a lot, and we sort of know the whole spheel by now. In all honesty though, I want to say good luck if you really want to go into psychology or psychiatry. My dad's a psychologist, so I know how much work it takes. There is a severe shortage of truely good therapists out there, so hopefully you can be one of the better ones and help girls in the future. When I found a therapist that worked for me, she helped me see what was causing my problems, and that helped me overcome depression and anxiety disorder. Unfortunately I turned to food for comfort and gained close to 30 pounds in the process. Food will always be an issue for me, but now I know there are limits. Instead of wanting to be 102 again, I know I need to be somewhere around 112. And yes, I agree that being emaciated is not pretty, but everyone's ideals of beauty are different, and they're not always realistic. But good luck with school, and I hope you do end up counseling girls with ED's because there are so few people that understand. -Edie
